Friction is a force between objects or surfaces that cause them to grab or cling to one another. Friction is the underlying reason why objects do not slide smoothly and without resistance.

In the current scenario, friction is a hindrance to completion of tasks and activities. It’s not only in the workplace but it’s also a problem in life. Friction is when people don’t like to finish what they started or they get annoyed by doing something twice or more. As a result, friction makes them stop and quit. This causes delays and can significantly affect the progress of projects.

Despite the fact that friction is very important in our daily life, it also has some disadvantages like:

      1. Friction is a problem, and is caused by friction and heat.

      2. Friction will always exist in the presence of heat. Let’s look at some examples:

      3. It is not possible to take friction away from the earth, or the atmosphere, because friction is an intrinsic property of matter. Some examples:

      4. The path of a rocket is not frictionless. If it was frictionless, it would be impossible for this rocket to travel

The main disadvantage of friction is that it produces heat in various parts of machines. In this way some useful energy is wasted as heat energy. Due to friction we have to exert more power in manufacturing.
