The correct option is b. Cabbage.

Flowers as economical part in Cabbage production.

Cabbage is a cool season crop that can be grown throughout the United States. It is a member of the cruciferous family which also includes broccoli, cauliflower, and kale. Cabbage is a good source of vitamin C and vitamin K.

There are three types of cabbage: white, red, and Savoy. Savoy cabbage has a crinkled leaf and is the most tender. Red cabbage is the most common type.

Cabbage can be grown from transplants or from seeds. Seeds should be planted 1/2 inch deep and 2-3 inches apart. Thin plants to 12 inches apart when they are 2-3 inches tall.

Cabbage can be harvested when the heads are firm and the leaves are tight. Cut the cabbage head off at the base with a sharp knife. Leave the stump attached to the roots so the plant can continue to grow.

Cabbage can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. It can also be frozen, canned, or dried.

Cabbage is a good choice for an economical part in a vegetable garden.
