Many religions have churches, each with their own denomination. The Catholic church in Germany has the following churches: St. Maria, St. Augustinus, St. Thomas, and St. Pancras.
Many cities have a cathedral, where a large number of churches and cathedrals are located together in a single building. St. Michael’s in Trondheim, Norway is such a cathedral, while Canterbury Cathedral in England is home to a great deal of churches and cathedrals.
There are at least 2,114,250 Catholic churches in the world and 5,500,550 Protestant churches in the world.
