The Lewis structure of SCL4 is shown below, with all of the lone pairs being on one oxygen atom. Two single bonds are indicated by a dash between two atoms. If there is a double bond, it is marked as such (for example CH2).If there were no pi (π) bonds, which usually match up to shared electrons in compounds with free valence electrons, then we would follow the same pattern as the nitrogen atom has for lone pairs and double bonds.
