Answer is A) i.e 1914
In 1914, Germany declared war on both Russia and France as part of the First World War.
On July 31, 1914, Germany had demanded that France remain neutral and that Russia stop mobilizing. When both countries refused to bow to German demands, Germany declared war on Russia on August 1 and on France two days later. France reacted to the prospect of a Russo-German war by mobilising its own forces. As a result, the ‘Great War’, which began on 28 July 1914 with Austria-Hungary’s declaration of war with Serbia, became the first truly global war.
