The correct answer is [B] Snakes

Ophiology is the branch of zoology that is concerned with the study of snakes.

It is a sub-group of herpetology, which also deals with batrachology (the study of frogs), saurology (the study of lizards) and chronology, chelonology or chelonethology (the study of turtles).

Ophiology encompasses the examination of snake species around the world, from the approximately 3,900 recognized, extant species belonging to 529 genera globally (Uetz et al. 2021) to the study of fossil animals.
