You should go ahead and buy health insurance now, even if you buy a plan with a high deductible. Going through life without health insurance is not a wise plan. You’re one catastrophe away from financial ruin if you don’t have health insurance.

Don’t expect Obamacare to be something great. The more the bill gets unpacked, the more people dislike it. It will be effective in helping people who can’t afford health insurance, but the quality likely won’t be there. A quality health plan would cost the government too much than it can afford.

Don’t expect the government to provide health insurance for you. Get it before Obamacare goes into effect.
