    This Answer Is C,.
The torque of a rotor in an induction motor under running conditions is maximumSource: live.staticflickr.com

The torque of a rotor in an induction motor under running conditions is maximum at the value of slip that makes the rotor reactance per phase equal to the rotor resistance per phase.

This point of maximum torque is determined by the supply voltage to the motor and the rotor resistance per phase, R2. At this point, the torque is directly proportional to the slip, meaning that increasing the slip increases the torque and vice versa.

Therefore, in order to obtain maximum torque, the rotor resistance needs to be adjusted accordingly.
