The biggest challenge that engineers face when looking for jobs is that they don’t really think like a company. This sounds like a weird thing to say, but I know many engineering students who can easily pass their technical exams and courses, however they still fail to accomplish the simplest of tasks during job interviews. Most companies look for people who are able to adapt quickly in order to solve problems on their own.

If you’re applying for a job in an office environment then you should be aware that Indian or Sri Lankan guys are not preferred because it’s almost impossible for them to adjust in the West due to language barriers. The same goes with Arabs – there are too many terrorist attacks in Europe & USA these days so it would be very difficult for any company out there take a chance on an Arab guy.

      Other challenges that engineers face:

There are many other challenges that engineers face when looking for jobs. One of the main problems is that most companies want someone with experience, but how can you get experience if no one will give you a chance? Another challenge is that a lot of companies require their employees to have knowledge of multiple programming languages, which most engineers don’t know.

This can be a big problem because most companies only use a few popular programming languages, so it’s very difficult to find a job if you don’t know these languages. Finally, another challenge is that a lot of engineers are not very good at communication. Most engineering students only learn about technical subjects in college and they don’t really learn how to talk to people. This can be a big problem when you’re trying to find a job – most interviews involve talking to people, not solving problems.
