what is a computer definition? Is there any meaning for all letters in computer? tell me the definition with parts explained.

    What is the definition of computer?

    Yes, for the computer we can elaborate meaning for each letter.
    A computer is derived from “Compute”, which basically means calculate. The computer is a general-purpose electronic device that is used to perform arithmetic and logical operations automatically.

    COMPUTER = Arithmetical Logical Unit (ALU) + Control Unit (CU)
    The abbreviation of the Computer is as follows below.

    C-Commonly

    O-Operated

    M-Machine

    P-Particularly

    U-Used for

    T-Technology

    E-Education and

    R-Research

    You can see the computer devices in many forms like
    Desktop computers
    Laptops,
    Notebooks
    Tablets.
    PDA(personal digital assistant)
    Workstations
    Mainframes
    Supercomputers
    Servers
    Wearable Computers
    Network Computers

    Generally, these devices consist of the following

    1. CPU:
    Central Processing Unit or CPU is the BRAINS of the computer which processes and manipulates the input from the user. The CPU works with a memory from the system, which is the component that sends stored data to the unit.

    2. RAM :
    Random Access Memory or RAM is a form of computer memory that can be read and changed in any order, typically used to store working data and machine code temporarily. RAM contains the information during the computer on, and when the computer is switched off, the information will be lost.

    3. HDD:
    Hard Disk Drive is a permanent storage unit of a system that stores the Operating System, Documents. Basically a magnetic disk is used in the HDD to store the files. Hard Disks are available in the market in different capacities like 80GB, 250GB, 320GB, 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, etc.

    4. Motherboard:
    Each component is connected to the motherboard. The motherboard communicates between the Input / Output devices, RAM and Memory devices. The motherboard receives power from the power supply board.

    5. Video Card:
    The video card is attached to the monitor or motherboard which transfers the video scene to monitor through VGA cable. Some video cards having 2 outputs to transfer the image into 2 monitors same time for better usability.
