In the 1800s, Swami Dayanand Saraswati formed a religion that is now known as Arya Samaj. He established his religion based on Hinduism and Vedanta philosophy. His slogan was “Satyameva Jayate” which means “Truth alone triumphs”.
Although this slogan is not exclusive to Arya Samaj, it is characteristic of their beliefs and impactful for them. This phrase has become an influential slogan since its inception and has been referenced in many different contexts such as literature and political speeches.
This phrase is still used today to mean “the Truth will always prevail over any other way of thinking.”
