When percolated water is left for a long time in a `thick water jar‘ and you see a lot of sediments on the bottom of the jar, percolated water is said to be `thick water’. Thick water is water which is called by ayurvedic doctors as `Panakam.’ Thick water is a unique and ancient ayurvedic concept. Thick water is prepared by heating the water to boil and then letting it cool down. This process adds value to the water by producing molecular hydrogen, trace mineral-rich water, and a number of `free radicals.’ Water is the most important element required for human beings. The emergence of free radicals in the body causes diseases. So taking thick water will help to eliminate free radicals and reduce the risk of contracting various `diseases.’
