The Central Coffee Research Institute is situated in the heart of coffee tracts near Balehonnnur in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka, India.
The Institute has located about 8 km from Balehonnur and is about 3 km off the main road on Balehonnur – Sringeri.
The Coffee Museum is located a few hundred meters ahead of Zilla panchayat bhavan and RTO, while CCRI is located 5 km away from IG Road.
Established in 1925, the Institute has been catering to the demands of its customer base satisfactorily.
