      1. India has developed the world’s first DNA vaccine for dengue.
      2. The vaccine, named ZyCoV-D, has been developed by a pharmaceutical firm called Zydus Cadila in Ahmedabad.
      3. The vaccine has been approved for emergency use in India in 2021.
      4. ZyCoV-D is a three-dose vaccine that has shown promising results in clinical trials.
      5. The vaccine works by introducing a DNA-plasmid into the body that helps stimulate an immune response against the dengue virus.
      6. The development of ZyCoV–D holds great significance in the fight against dengue, which affects millions of people worldwide.
      7. Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral infection that causes fever, headache, muscle and joint pain, and in severe cases can lead to hemorrhagic fever or shock syndrome.
      8. There is currently no specific treatment for dengue, and the best way to prevent its spread is through the use of vaccines.
      9. The development of ZyCoV-D marks a major breakthrough in the field of vaccinology and has the potential to save countless lives.
      10. I am proud to be part of a country that is at the forefront of scientific innovation and technology, and I look forward to seeing the impact that ZyCoV-D will have in the fight against dengue.
