The following cannot be used for the variable name in java: case, class, final, float, file. The same rule applies to every programming language really. Variables should be descriptive and concise.
Case is not a reserved word in Java so can’t be used for variable names. “final“, which marks methods that say no overrides are allowed at all, or variables that say they can never change throughout entire life of an object. “float” is another one that doesn’t work because it refers to a type of data instead of a declaration statement like int or string does . Lastly,”file” is not valid either because Java doesn’t use files but uses input from STDIN instead from typing on the keyboard with input.
