When you eat a lot of leafy greens like spinach, kale, and lettuce, your body breaks down the cellulose that makes up these plants and converts it into energy. As well as the plant waste products that come with this process cause a certain type of poop to appear which is green in color.
Green poop is not necessarily the result of eating too many vegetables. It can also be caused by other factors such as a bad diet or taking different supplements.
